Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Subscription Box for May 2017

I absolutely love natural products so when I first got to review a Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Box, I was so excited!  I was also lucky enough to receive a second box to review! How awesome is that?!? For those of you who aren't familiar with the brand, Simply Earth is a monthly subscription that sends you all the ingredients you need to make amazing creations for the theme of the month including essential oils, recipes and a few extras. I received May's subscription box and was extremely excited to learn it was a Beauty box! I had always been curious about natural beauty products but had never truly thought about what goes into them but with this subscription box, I got to create the products a person uses in their daily regimen first hand! These recipes were amazing and I am going to be sharing some of them with you down below!

Body Scrub

The first recipe I tried was the Body Scrub. I absolutely loved this recipe and used it on my face as well. The ingredients were pretty simple; sugar, honey, Camelia seed oil, Geranium Essential oil and Juniper berry essential oil. I decided to reuse a baby food glass jar to store the leftovers in. I loved how soft and moisturized my skin felt after using this body scrub and can't wait to share the recipe with friends(besides you guys of course).

Makeup Remover 

The next recipe I tried was the one I was most excited about, Makeup Remover! This recipe called for Castile Soap, Camellia Seed Oil, Cypress Essential Oil and cotton rounds. Basically, you combine the items in an airtight container and remove makeup fast, quick and easy! Definitely excited to keep up this natural make up removing recipe for the future.

Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Box Review

I am so excited to share with everyone an amazing new subscription box I have become an ambassador for! The box is an essential oil recipe box from a company called Simply Earth. The box includes 6 to 7 essential oil recipes and the ingredients you will need to create different items that go with the theme every month! Essential oils are a great alternative to other products because the ones in this box are natural and pure from plants with no added extra bad stuff! This box is a great way for beginners to learn how to incorporate essential oils into everyday things we use, such as cleaning, beauty and bath products. Each month has a different theme and the best part is the box is AFFORDABLE! This essential oil recipe box is just $39 a month, not to mention you will also receive peace of mind knowing you are protecting yourself and your family from harmful ingredients! How awesome does that sound!?! I am going to tell you about some of the recipes included in this month of the box. I really loved the earthy smells included and it made me appreciate what nature has to offer that much more. My favorite thing about this subscription box is that 13% of the profits go to organizations who are fighting to end human trafficking. I love a product with such an amazing charitable cause behind it.

 Earthy Sweet Diffuser Blend

The first recipe I made was called the "Earthy Sweet Diffuser Blend",  which was a mix of Wintergreen Essential Oil, Patchouli essential oil and Anise essential oils which created a very earthy nature inspired scent. Thanks to this essential oil box, I have discovered my new favorite essential oil, Wintergreen for sure! I felt very relaxed and content once this blend began diffusing into the air. The Earthy Sweet blend gave me a great sense of calm.

Earthy Sweet Soothing Soap & Citrus Soothing Oatmeal Soap

The next recipe I made was Earthy Sweet Soothing Soap! The subscription box came with tow really cute molds for the soap as well which was a really cute touch. The ingredients besides the Wintergreen, Patchouli and Anise essential oils were 4 teaspoons ground oatmeal and the soap base which was also included. You just easily melt the soap base and mix all ingredients then pour the liquid into a mold. Let the soap sit for a few hours and voila! An amazing soap to use! I love the scent to this soap especially! My favorite of the soap recipes included in this box for sure. I also made the Citrus Soothing Oatmeal Soap as well which also contained oatmeal but used the Tranquility and Bergamot essential oils. I am a huge fan of both of these recipes. I will definitely be making my own soap in the future thanks to Simply Earth!

Ralph Lauren Polo Red Extreme Review

I recently was sent the scent Ralph Lauren Polo Red Extreme for my boyfriend to test out courtesy of Influenster. I had never tried this brand so I didn't know what to expect. My boyfriend is always wearing some form of colonge so I knew this opportunity would be perfect for him to try out a higher end brand. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we loved the smell of this product. The blend of coffee, blood orange and black ebony wood create a nice scent for men that isn't too strong but still lasts long throughout the day no matter how many places you go. He is now a fan of the scent and we will most likely be purchasing Ralph Lauren Polo Red Extreme in the future. I received this product free for testing purposes but all opinions are my & my boyfriend's own.
